This sculpture is built from individually fabricated hollow, thick-walled steel letters in 304/316 stainless steel, each letterform constructed with sufficient depth to read clearly as a genuine three-dimensional object rather than a flat cutout, and finished with a full 8K mirror polish across every face and edge. Producing crisp, consistent hollow letterforms at this scale requires precise cutting and welding of each letter's individual side panels, with internal bracing added as needed to maintain structural rigidity, particularly for letters with complex curves or open counters such as O, S, or C, before the entire assembly is mounted on an integrated stainless steel base matched to the same finish.
