This water-feature sculpture is formed as a single bent piece from heavy-gauge 304/316 stainless steel, shaped into multiple flowing, layered curves and finished in a matte pure-white fluorocarbon coating rather than the bright mirror polish used on many of the collection's other ribbon-form pieces. Bending heavy-gauge steel plate into multiple consistent, flowing layers without introducing visible stress marks or inconsistent curvature requires considerable forming expertise, and the matte white finish must be applied with particular care across every curve to avoid uneven gloss or texture variation that would be immediately visible against the clean, uninterrupted white surface.

The multilayered, flowing curves are deliberately light and graceful in proportion despite the substantial steel construction beneath the matte finish, and when the sculpture is placed within a mirror pool or other still water feature, the layered white ribbon form creates a particularly clean, symmetrical reflection that reads as crisp and architectural rather than busy or ornate. This restrained, pure-white aesthetic pairs naturally with contemporary minimalist architecture and tends to photograph especially well against the deep blue of a reflecting pool or the green of surrounding landscaping.
